Aidan’s Ride to Hout Bay Fire Station

We fired up our Harley engines today and took a pack ride with Aidan to visit our local heroes at the Hout Bay Fire Station. It was very exciting for the young ones and the much older young at heart who joined for the ride. We enjoyed our visit at the fire station where we all looked at the gear, hoses, trucks and some brave ones, including Aidan, even saw Hout Bay from high up in the sky.
Aidan is 6 years old and was diagnosed at 18 months with a very rare genetic disorder called Costello Syndrome. So rare that he is the 2nd diagnosis in SA and only 200 to 300 people have it world-wide.Aidan and his parents are from Johannesburg and have brought Aidan to the Red Cross Children’s Hospital to undergo a tethered cord operation on 12 July 2016.
